Meet our Host:
Mark Robinson, is a founder, musician, music teacher and author. He saw first-hand how children progressed faster when they were playing popular rock and pop music in a band. Since then, his company, Rocksteady have grown to become the UK's leading rock and pop music teaching service for primary schools and one of the biggest employers of musicians in the UK.
He stepped back from the day to day running of the company in 2015 after finding the right CEO and has recently completed a successful exit after growing the company 25x since then.
The Rocksteady Foundation organises hundreds of free music sessions for children and young people in charities and support groups across the UK. They enable some of the most vulnerable in society to enjoy the wellbeing, fun and educational benefits of playing music in a band.
