Summary:
In this session Benjamin King, Founder and CEO of Kinyu SCM, discussed the tricky parts of hiring team members in China and covered the basic steps for its achievement, as well as the challenges and opportunities this entails.
He also stressed how important compliance is in a Chinese labour context and revealed suprising factors which can affect the process, like region specific regulations, remote work status, or the wage gap between different parts of the country.
Benjamin also explained the cultural context of Chinese office environemnts and how teams (both in situ and remote), should be structured to perform optimally.
